Perform a 5-hour step-test bypumping extraction well GT-10 at different rates to <br /> determine sustainability of the well at different pumping rates. The test will start at <br /> about 4 gallons per minute (gpm) and increase in 4 gpm increments at 1-hour <br /> intervals. <br /> 2. Collect groundwater samples at each pumping rate to be submitted to a certified <br /> laboratory for analyses. <br /> 3. Conduct a 12-hour constant rate (based on the result of the step test) pumping test <br /> to determine draw-down effect and other aquifer parameters, and to determine the <br /> feasibility of a pump and treat remediation system <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Must provide transducers (or similar automated level-logger type apparatus) at the <br /> extraction well and the observation wells during both pump tests. <br /> 2. Conduct minimally,the 5-hour step-test no later than July 31, 2001 before <br /> groundwater elevation begins to fall again. It is your responsibility to obtain pre- <br /> approval from the State Clean Up Fund (the Fund) before performing this test. <br /> Inabilityor delay in obtaining pre-approval from the Fund is not an excuse for <br /> postponing the proposed work plan <br /> 3.
