At the conclusion of this SVET we expect to have a pretty good idea of where the VOCs
currently are in the sand zones near the former UST and what expectation level there may be for
a successful SVE operation. Based on conclusions from the SVET report, a SVE Pilot Study
that would include new wells drilled and completed with screened intervals at appropriate
subsurface intervals to extract the identified petroleum hydrocarbons near the former UST may
recommended.
If you are in agreement with this proposed workplan modification please let me know by email or
telephone. We would like to proceed as soon as practical. if you have any questions please do not
hesitate to contact me at(209) 369-9421 or(209) 601-6694. Thank you very much.
Sincerely, NGtNEER/NG,
G• Nf u STEPHEN G. o01
MUIR
No. EG 1224
Stephen G.Muir * Exp.Date
Certified Engineering Geologist,#1224
Expiration Date: 8/30/2011 P OF CA4F
Attachments:
Figure 4 Site Activity Map
Figure 5 Cross-Section A-A'
Figure 6 Cross-Section B-B'
Gillies\SVET Workplan Amendment 08252010.wpd 2
