Telephone and Emergency Contact Information <br /> b. Fire Control Equipment(Fire Extinguisher) <br /> Metal hydrides C. Eye-Wash Station <br /> d. Spill Control Equipment <br /> Potassium <br /> SOzCI,SOCIz,PC13,CH3,SiC13 Container Labeling <br /> 1. Hazardous Waste <br /> Group 4 <br /> The following labeling requirements apply to containers holding hazardous waste: <br /> Potential consequences of mixing A and B materials are fire,explosion,or violent reaction <br /> a. Each container of hazardous waste must be labeled with the following <br /> Group 4-A Group 4-B information,using the preprinted labels provided: <br /> Alcohols Any concentrated waste in Groups 1-A I. Generator Name,Address and EPA Number <br /> or 1-B II. Composition and Physical State of the Waste. (e.g.Oily Water, Liquid) <br /> Water III. Hazardous Properties of the Waste(e.g. <br /> Halogenated hydrocarbons Group z-A wastes Flammable/Toxic/Corrosive/Reactive) <br /> IV. Accumulation Start Date <br /> Nitrated hydrocarbons <br /> 2. Universal Waste <br /> Unsaturated hydrocarbons <br /> The following labeling requirements apply to containers holding universal waste: <br /> Other reactive organic compounds and solvents <br /> a. Each container of universal waste must be labeled with the following information, <br /> Incompatible wastes should not be mixed in the same transportation or storage container unless using the preprinted labels provided: <br /> precautions are taken to prevent or control adverse reactions. <br /> I. Description of Waste(e.g.Alkaline Batteries) <br /> A waste should not be added to an unwashed container or waste management unit that previously ll. Generator Information <br /> contained an incompatible waste unless precautions are taken to prevent or control adverse III. Accumulation Start Date <br /> reactions. <br /> 3. Empty Containers <br /> The following labeling requirements apply to empty container previously holding hazardous <br /> waste: <br /> a. Empty containers that previously held hazardous waste or materials must be <br /> labeled with the preprinted labels provided <br /> I. Previous Contents(e.g Oily Water) <br /> II. Date the container became empty <br /> Container Management <br /> 1. Container Closure <br /> All containers holding hazardous and universal waste must be kept closed except when <br /> wastes are being added to or removed from the container. Containers holding liquids or <br /> dispersible solids must also be kept airtight. <br />
