CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> 3443 Routier Road <br /> Sacramento, California 95827 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> in the matter of <br /> Notice of Application for Revised Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit) <br /> for <br /> PARADISE POINT MARINA <br /> SEVEN RESORTS INC. <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Paradise Point Marina has requested waste discharge requirements for domestic and <br /> houseboat holding tank wastewater at its wastewater treatment facility. The <br /> proposed requirements will allow a discharge of effluent from secondary treatment <br /> facilities with effluent filtration into a drainage ditc1h, tributary to Bishop <br /> Cut. Discharge requirements will include a maximum flow limit of 30,000 gpm. <br /> From 1 November to 31 March, discharge requirements will include a biological <br /> oxygen demand (BOD) limit of 30 mg/1 , a total suspended matter (SS) limit of 30 <br /> mg/l , and a daily maximum total coliform limit of 500 MPN/100 ml . From 1 April to <br /> 31 October, discharge requirements will include a BOD limit of 10 mg/1 , a SS limit <br /> of 10 mg/l , and a daily maximum total coliform limit of 200 MPN/100 ml . <br /> The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, will <br /> hold a public hearing: <br /> DATE: 31 March 1989 <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> PLACE: State Capitol <br /> Room 444 <br /> (11th between L & N Streets) <br /> Sacramento, CA 95814 <br /> Persons wishing to comment or object to the proposed requirements are invited to <br /> submit same in writing to the Regional Board no later than 21 March 1989. All <br /> comments or objections received by this date will be considered in the draft waste <br /> discharge requirements. <br /> A public hearing may be held upon the request of any interested person. After <br /> considering comments or objections, the Board may issue waste discharge require- <br /> ments. <br /> Anyone having questions on these requirements should contact the project engineer, <br /> Robert Evans, at (916) 361-5672.
