Box 4415 <br /> Houston, Texas 77210-4415 <br /> RE: Draft Final Remedial Plan IN REPLY REFER TO SITE CODE: 2231 <br /> R/S#: 7-3942 <br /> 4444 North Pershing Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Pursuant to Section 280. 67, Subpart F of 40CFR of the Federal <br /> Register, before approving your Final Remedial Plan/Corrective <br /> Action Plan, San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division PHS/EHD will conduct a public notice <br /> to consider comments on the proposed corrective action plan. <br /> Please prepare an Executive Summary of your draft Final Remedial <br /> Plan (FRP) to accompany our public notice no later than January 2 , <br /> 1991. <br /> The draft FRP should provide a summary of: <br /> -data obtained during the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility <br /> Study (Problem Assessment Report) <br /> -identifiable remedial alternatives <br /> -risks associated with conditions at the site, as well as <br /> risks with the identifiable alternatives <br /> -the proposed remedial alternatives <br /> The draft FRP should include costs for implementation and <br /> operations and maintenance of the remedial alternatives. <br /> A full-volume draft FRP (along with pertinent documentation) is to <br /> be made available for review at the Stockton Public Library at 605 <br /> N. E1 Dorado St. , Stockton. The draft FRP will also be made <br /> available for review at the PHS/EHD office during normal business <br /> hours. <br /> The selection of the remedial alternative will be made only upon <br /> review and consideration of comments received during the public <br /> comment period. The public comment period for the draft FRP for <br /> the former Exxon Service Station site at 4444 North Pershing Avenue <br /> will open January 2 , 1991 and end at close of business on January <br /> 31, 1991. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
