PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for
remediation of an underground leaking storage tank site located at
4444 N. Pershing Avenue, in the City of Stockton (APN 110-220-17-5)
on the southwest corner of the intersection of North Pershing
Avenue and Rose Marie Lane, has been reviewed by San Joaquin County
Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division. The plan is
a proposal for mitigation of hazardous substances which
contaminated the site due to unauthorized releases associated with
underground storage tanks which were located on the property.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tentative
determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not
create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the
benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the
and Environmental Health Division, 445 N. San Joaquin Street,
Stockton, California, during normal working hours, 8: 00 a.m. - 5: 00
p.m. If a request by any member of the public for a public hearing
is not received by San Joaquin County Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Division by February 14 , 1991, the tentative
decision shall become final on that date and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to public
Health Services, Environmental Health Division at the above
address. Questions regarding the procedures or specific site
should be directed to Harlin Knoll at (209) 468-3442 .
Dated: December 19, 1990
By: Laurie Cotulla, Program Manager, Unit IV
Publish: December 30, 1990
Newspaper: Stockton Record
