The site characterization will be completed before proposing and implementing any final remediation technology such as in-situ chemical oxidation, natural attenuation, etc. 6. The EHD will approve the Work Plan to advance the one borehole in the area of the former waste oil tank with the conditions that: • The Work Plan will be amended to include the additional site assessment; • The EHD will be notified of the fieldwork at least a week prior to the scheduled event; • The fieldwork may not commence until five days after the permit has been issued; • The addition of 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), 1,2-dibromorethane (EDB), naphthalene, ethanol and methanol has been included in the list of analytes tested for soil samples collected from the borehole; and • The waste manifests are included in the report of findings.
