Based on information presented in these two reports and historical
groundwater analytical data, the EHD directs the following groundwater sampling schedule for
this site:
• Omit sampling groundwater in monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, MW-7
through MW-9, MW-12 and MW-13 (except as proposed in the NOI for MW-1, MW-12
and MW-13 if approved by the California Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board);
• Annually collect groundwater samples from MW-3, MW-14, RW4, SW2 and IW1 (except
as proposed in the NOI for MW-3 and RW4 if approved by the California Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board);
• Semi-annually collect groundwater samples from MW-6, MW-10, UVB, VW1 through
VW5, RW1 and RW2; and
• Depending on the proposal presented in the NOI and approved by the California Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board, either quarterly or semi-annually collect
groundwater from SW1, SW2, UVB-MW1, UVB-MW2, V1 through V4, IP1A/B, IP2A/B,
IP3A/B, PSV-1 and PSV-2; with the exception of V3, Cardno has proposed injecting
PersulfOxTM into groundwater from an injection system consisting of these monitoring
and remediation wells.
