To complete a boring to collect soil and groundwater samples of chemical analysis. Based upon <br /> sample results, install one MW (deep)down-gradient of the on-site source area approximately 50 feet <br /> below ground surface(bgs). Groundwater from the deep MW will be monitored and sampled to <br /> determine the vertical extent of groundwater contamination. <br /> 2. To complete 5 soil borings to approximately 15 feet bgs and collect soil samples for potential laboratory <br /> analysis. <br /> 3. To install 5 shallow vapor wells to 6 feet bgs. <br /> 4. To analyze soil and groundwater for:TPH-g (EPA Method 8015B), BTEX(EPA Method 8260B),and <br /> gasoline fuel additives(EPA Method 8260B). <br /> 5. To analyze soil vapor samples for TPH-g, BTEX, and gasoline additives using appropriate EPA <br /> methods. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Sample results for soil,soil vapor, and groundwater must be compared to the San Francisco Bay <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board Environmental Screening Levels (SFBRWQCB, ESL's). <br /> 2. Two EHD permit applications, one for the off-site MW in COS right of way and one for the on- <br /> site borings and soil vapor sampling wells, are required and fees ( $89.00 per app.) must be <br /> submitted. <br /> 3. When EHD permits are issued,work can be scheduled and inspections will be performed. <br /> 4.
