Cherokee Lane, Lodi <br /> This is an update to the DA referral made to your office in 2004. <br /> A routine underground storage tank (UST) inspection was performed at the <br /> above-mentioned site on October 18, 2007 (Attachment 1) by Toua Yang, REHS, <br /> and the following violations were noted: <br /> 4An approved copy of the monitoring plan is not on file with this office. <br /> An incomplete copy was last submitted in November 2006 and could not be <br /> approved as submitted. An updated plan was submitted to this office for <br /> approval on November 19, 2007. Title 23, CCR 2632 (b) Owners or operators <br /> of underground storage tanks subject to this section shall implement a monitoring <br /> program approved by the local agency and specified in the underground storage <br /> tank operating permit. This is a repeat violation. <br /> 4Maintenance and daily alarm monitoring records were not available for <br /> review. Records for the last 12 months have not been submitted to this <br /> office for review. Title 23, CCR 2712 (b) Written monitoring and maintenance <br /> records shall be maintained on-site or off-site at a readily available location, if <br /> approved by the local agency, for a period of at least 3 years, 6 1/2 years for <br /> cathodic protection maintenance records, and 5 years for written performance <br /> claims pertaining to release detection systems, and calibration and maintenance <br /> records for such systems. Records of repairs, lining, and upgrades shall be <br /> maintained on site or at another approved location for the remaining life of the <br /> underground storage tank. These records shall be made available, upon request <br /> within 36 hours, to the local agency or the State Water Board. <br /> 1 <br />
