improvements that include vegetation and the main building structure located north of <br /> UST "B", a 12-foot long by 6-foot wide planter box located south of UST "B", and an <br /> electrical vault located approximately 1-foot west of UST "B". <br /> CEMI contracted the services of West Hazmat Drilling, from Sacramento, California, <br /> for the drilling operations Prior to advancing the hollow-stem auger, a hand auger was <br /> advanced to a depth of five (5) feet bgs for the purpose of identifying any unmarked <br /> subsurface utilities West Hazmat Drilling utilized an Acker dnll ng with an eight (8) <br /> inch outside diameter (OD) hollow stem auger in five (5) foot lengths <br /> Drill augers were steam cleaned prior to advancement Soil sampling equipment (sample <br /> tube and rings) was decontaminated with Alconox detergent and rinsed with tap water <br /> prior to and following each sample Soil cuttings and decontamination fluids were <br /> contained, placed in the drums, labeled, and stored in a secured area on-site A total of <br /> three (3) fifty-five (55) gallon drums were generated The generated material is slated <br /> for proper disposal following completion of the UST excavation. <br /> On June 30, 1994 CEMI conducted the subsurface soil investigation and supervised the <br /> advancement of four (4) soil borings identified as bonngs B1, B2, B3, and B4 Soil <br /> boring locations are identified in Figure 2 <br /> K084023 RPT 8 <br />
