4.0 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL CONSIDERATIONS <br /> Considerations for removal of the two 5,000 gallon UST's are as follows• <br /> • A 12-foot long by 6-foot wide block planter box built on a concrete pad and of <br /> cinderblock construction may obstruct excavation activities for UST removals <br /> Considerations for the removal and replacement of this planter box should be <br /> made prior to UST removals. <br /> • A subsurface electrical vault, constructed of cast-in-place concrete, is located <br /> approximately 2 feet west of UST "B" and may obstruct excavation activities and <br /> prohibit the use of heavy equipment in the area, due to cave-in potential <br /> Considerations for excavation shoring and limited access of heavy equipment <br /> should be made prior to UST removals <br /> • The main buildingstructure 1s located approximately 7 feet north of UST "B" and <br /> PP Y <br /> the integrity of the structure may be compromised during excavation activities <br /> Considerations for excavation shoring should be made prior to UST removals <br /> • Vegetation (shrubbery) is located approximately 2 feet north of UST "B" and may <br /> be disturbed during excavation activities Considerations for the protection and/or <br /> K084023 RPT 14 <br />
