Four soil samples <br /> will be collected from each 50 cubic yards of stockpiled soil, with each set of four samples to be <br /> composited in the laboratory prior to analysis. The stockpile soil samples will be submitted to a <br /> state-certified laboratory for chemical analysis. The samples will be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons (TPH) as diesel, TPH as gasoline, benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes, volatile <br /> organic compounds, and CAM 5 metals. Based on laboratory analytical results, an appropriate <br /> disposal facility will be selected. The soil will be disposed of within 90 days of its generation date. <br /> Installation of the six ground water monitoring wells is scheduled to begin on September 8, 1997. The <br /> geoprobe, hand auger, soil vapor probe-phase of this investigation has not been scheduled to date.Your <br /> expedient review of our well permit applications is greatly appreciated.
