AEGIS ENVIRONMENTAL , INC <br /> 1050 Melody Lane, Suite 160, Roseville, CA 95678 ♦ 916.782-2110 1916.969-2110 1 FAX 916.786-7830 <br /> March 23, 1993 <br /> Mr Dan Kirk <br /> Shell Oil Company <br /> Post Office Box 5278 <br /> Concord, California 94520 <br /> Subject Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Shell Service Station (WIC No 204-7524-2408) <br /> 4445 Pershing Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Kirk <br /> Aegis Environmental, Inc (Aegis), is pleased to provide Shell Oil Company (Shell) the <br /> attached information documenting the results of quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> conducted on January 11, 1993, at the subject site by Blaine Tech Services, Inc , of San <br /> Jose, California Well MW-3 was not accessible for monitoring or sampling due to'-- <br /> damage to the wellhead traffic box <br /> Second quarter monitoring and sampling is scheduled for the site in April 1993 The <br /> sampling will include purging at least three well volumes of groundwater from each of the <br /> wells Temperature, conductivity, pH, and turbidity will be measured and/or observed for <br /> groundwater stability parameters prior to sampling <br /> The original steel underground fuel storage tanks and product piping were removed in <br /> May 1990, and replaced with a double-walled fiberglass tank and piping system <br /> (Figure 2) A search of the records on file with Shell, dating fro7frmer <br /> to 1990, did not <br /> indicate any mayor repairs were made to the former tank or ptherl• ri routine <br /> maintenance <br /> At the request of San Joaquin County, a cross section through thtank basin has <br /> been included as Figure 8 <br /> 89-016F QMRt�a �� �r DCK✓� �8�' �p� <br /> GEOLOGISTS - ENGINEERS - GROUNDWATER SCIENTISTS <br />
