Second Quarter 2001 Ground Water Monitoring Report <br /> Cleanup and Abatement Order No 5-00-707 _ EAI Protect No 1232 <br /> 4.5 Analytical Testing Results <br /> No MTBE, TBA, DIPS, ETBE, TAME, EDB, ethanol or methanol, above laboratory reporting <br /> Iimits were detected in any of the ground water samples <br />' An increase in hydrocarbon concentration in five Ward wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, <br /> and MW-6) to pre-remediation concentrations is probably the result of Ward's terminating <br /> remediation efforts in December 2000 after Wards filed bankruptcy <br /> Unocal wells MW-10, MW-15, MW-16, MW-18D, MW-24S, and MW-24D had a slight <br /> increase in hydrocarbon concentration over the prior quarters testing results Wells MW-12, <br /> MW-23S, MW-23D, and MW-25D had a slight decrease in hydrocarbon concentration over the <br /> prior quarters testing results In EAI's opinion the changes in concentrations in these wells is <br />' consistent with seasonal fluctuations typically observed in ground water monitoring wells <br /> 4.6 Future Activities <br /> The next quarterly ground water monitoring for the site is scheduled for September 2001 A <br /> report documenting results of the ground water monitoring will be submitted to the RWQCB by <br /> October 15, 2001 <br /> r <br /> 1 BHM 1232RO151 8 ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT, INC <br />
