Item No. 6
PC: 6-18-92
ZR-92-10
Page 5
FACILITIES/SERVICES:
Sewage Disposal:
In its response to the application referral for the Zone Reclassification application, he
Environmental Health Division of Public Hea.Ith Services recommended that a soil suitability study
be prepared by the applicant and approved by the Division prior to the application being taken
to the Planning Commission.
The policy of the Development Services Division is to not accept Zone Reclassification
applications without an approved soil suitability study, based upon the intent of Section 9-5012
of the Planning Title. The applicant was not required to submit an approved study prior to this
hearing because of staffs recommendation for denial. The applicant was advised at the
Development Committee meeting of May 27, 1992, that an approved study would be required
prior to the approval of the Zone Reclassification application.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS:
An Initial Study was prepared for this project on May 15, 1992- On the basis of that review, no signific ,
adverse environmental impacts were identified, and a Negative Declaration was prepared. In addition,
a Certificate of Fee Exemption with a 'De Minimis (Impact Finding' has been prepared which states that
the project will not have an adverse impact upon wildlife resources.
