The excavation may be completed <br /> in two phases with two separate performance bonds; however, no <br /> excavation or removal of soil from the Phase Two site will ibe <br /> permitted until the second performance bond and work schedule have <br /> been approved. The cost of site rehabilitation, based upon <br /> calculations made by the Department of Public Works using <br /> prevailing wage rates, will be eleven cents ($0 . 11) per square <br /> yard. <br /> In order to commence excavation of Phase One you will need to <br /> submit a letter to this office detailing the size (acres and cubic <br /> yards) of the phase, the amount and form of the performance bond, <br /> a work schedule, the expected completion date, and the actual <br /> performance bond. Also include the size of Phase Two, as well as <br /> its rehabilitation cost, work schedule, and the completion date. <br /> Prior to commencing excavation on the Phase Two site, it will be <br /> necessary to submit a second performance bond (the amount to; be <br /> determined by the Department of Public Works) . <br /> Prior to the start of excavation, you will also be required to et <br /> the Conditions of Approval attached to the August 13 , 1990, ame ed <br /> approval letter (attached) . Coordinate the fulfillment of he <br /> conditions with the specific agencies that placed them on he <br /> approval. <br />
