INTRODUCTION <br /> - The following report summe.rizes the environmental investigation performed at <br /> E <br /> _.A 5606 Pacific Avenue in Stockton, California. Hassett Construction contracted J. H. <br /> Kleinfelder & Associates to initiate a site investigation to assess whether gasoline <br /> related constituents are present in the soil r4id groundwater adjacent to an <br /> underground storage tank formerly located at the site. On September 27, 7,935; J. H. <br /> KleinfF;der Associates completed two soil borirgs under this contract. This report <br /> s E describes the work elements associated with the test borings and monitoring well <br /> r� installations, and summarizes and discusses the analytical results obtained to-date. <br /> ti <br /> Purpose <br /> The purpose of this investigation was to assess. whether gasoline related <br /> constituents are present in the soil and groundwater adjacent to the former <br /> underground storage tanks located at the site. Toward this end, one soil boring was <br /> placed adjacent to the former underground storage tank and one placed a moderate <br /> distance from the former tank site.
