J. H. KLEINFELDER &ASSOC IATFS
ti
9 SUMVARY
IY.=ormatian provided by this interim site characterization report- has
addressed three key hydrogeological characterization objectives for the
Unocal property located at the northeast corner of Pacific Avenue and
Robinhood Drive, Stockton, California. The objectives are as follows:
e ro erries of --the,media underlying the site (soil tip -and hydraulic
gharacteristigsi:
Pro.°ect property soil types, lithology and five hydrogeological zones are
shoy'm on geologic cross section A-A' and on the geologic fence diagram
_ (Figure 7). A property—wide hydrogeologic zone summary has been prepared
(refer to Table 4, Appendix A). A series of slug tests have been 5
conducied to estimate hydraulic conductivity of the uppermost
water-bearing unit (refer to Appendix C).
v Cha_racteriza,r.aon of the gCometryf the gubsurface (soil--b zons.
c-o—nfining layors, multiple aggifers. vad9ge_zone. and saturated zone):
f
r
Six hydrogeological zones have been identified within the near-surface
sediments below the project property. Significant lithological horizons
have been characterized. The lithology, location, and geometry of t
unsaturated soil horizons, the uppermost water-bearing unit, confining
layers and multiple aquifers have been characterized. Each of these s
characteristics is presented visually to show interrelationships an
i
geologic cross section A-A' and on the geologic fence diagram (refer to
Ci Figure 7)
1
t
4
53-87-443 34 .
