I spoke with my supervisor regarding the addition of the 3-comp sink and possible moving
the mop sink into the restroom.
He said that If the City of Tracy (COT) is OK with the mop sink being moved into the
restroom, he is ok with that too (it may be an ADA issue...so ask the COT).
They do make the small 3-comp sinks that fit in the corner. Make sure the compartments
are large enough to accommodate your largest piece of equipment that will need to be
washed.
Flooring will need to be extended and FRP will need to extend 48" above the finished
floor.
Also contact COT to determine whether a plumbing permit is needed and if they require
an indirect connection (air gap) at the 3-comp sink into a floor sink or the funnel system
(as discussed yesterday).
Thank you!
Kadeanne Linhares, RDI, REHS
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(209) 468-0330 desk
(209) 468-3877 (fax)
***Please note change of e-mail address: klinhares(cD_sjgov.org
This communication and any attachment may contain confidential and privileged information for the use of the
designated recipient(s)named above.
