They shall be smooth, <br /> cleanable, and non absorbent. Repair walls and ceilings in these rooms.There shall no no gaps or holes on walls or ceiling. <br /> Paint with semi-gloss paint. Door frame shall be provided for rest room door and also painted. Floors in these rooms shall <br /> be up to code with 3/8 in radius coving that extends to wall a minimum of 4 inches in height. Rubber coving is not allowed. <br /> Material for floor shall be either ceramic or linoleum. Same material shall be used for floor and base. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
