Ground water depth measurements
will determine if mounding is occurring.
• 2. Screen extracted vapors for the presence of organic vapors using a PID. Vapors will be
monitored from sampling ports installed before the carbon canisters and after filtration.
-3. Collect vapor samples to determine extracted hydrocarbon concentrations and efficiency of
thermal oxidation system. Vapor samples will be collected in Tedlar bags.
4. Transport vapor samples to a state-certified laboratory and analyze for TPH-g and BTE&X
in accordance with appropriate EPA methods. Laboratory results will be correlated to field
data.
5. Quarterly ground water monitoring should continue. The next monitoring event will be
scheduled for April 1997, after the installation of the down gradient monitoring well.
3.5. REP ORT PREPARATION
Reports will be prepared on a quarterly basis. Each report will include a summary of all remediation
and sampling procedures during the previous quarter. Reports will be in a format acceptable to the
PHS-EHll and CVRWQCB. Each report will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered
Geologist.
