Other
requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified.
1) A Soil Suitability and Nitrate Loading Study incorporating all existing and proposed onsite
wastewater treatment system use shall be submitted to the Environmental Health
Department (EHD) indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The
studies must be approved by the EHD prior to recordation of the final parcel map. (San
Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)).
The fee will be based on the current schedule at the time of payment.
a) Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection
by the EHD is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/ Nitrate
Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 &
9-1110.4).
2) The San Joaquin County EHD has received and reviewed your Surface and Subsurface
Contamination Report (SSCR) dated March 19, 2020 and has found the SSCR does not
meet the requirements of San Joaquin County and Code Title 9, section 9-905.12 (a).
The following issues shall be addressed in an addendum to the study:
a) The report did not identify the underground fuel storage tank that was removed in
1986 (PR0504409). Development Title 9 Section 905.12 (a) requires an evaluation of
all point sources such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems and chemical storage
areas.
3) The site map indicates the new lot line will cross over the existing septic system for the
mobile home. Development Title 9 Section 872.2 (b) requires that the new lot line will not
encroach on the required areas for wells, septic tanks, or leach fields. Open, pump, and
backfill this septic tank under permit and inspection by the EHD before the recordation of
the final map (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4).
1868 E.
