NOTICE TO ABATE IMMEDIATELY Nunes Tire 12700 S Harlan Road Lathrop, Ca 95330 Re: Garba2e/Refuse Storaec or Disposal (San Joaquin County Solid Waste Ordinance Code, Sections 5-2400, 5-2402, and 5-2403). On March 3, 2006 at the address of 12700 S Harlan Road (APN# 19603008) it was observed from the eastern roadside of the property that at least two hundred used and waste semi truck tires were being stored at the western end of this parcel behind a residence and garage. Waste tires are considered a solid waste and reauire a state waste facility hermit for storage. You must remove the tires at the above referenced Dro)ertv to a Dermitted facility or make amlication to the California Integrated Waste Management Board for a waste tire storage facility ()roof of this aDDlication shall be provided to this Department within 30 days). Enclosed is information regarding Waste Tire Statutes. Hauling more than nine waste tires without waste tire hauler registration from the CIWMB is a violation of Public Resources Code (PRC) Section 42951. To preclude any injustice to you, you are to properly dispose of the waste tires by using a CIWMB registered tire hauler to haul the tires to an end use tire facility.
