E1 Camino Tire <br /> Facility No. 39-TI-0883 <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br /> (D) Waste tires at an existing waste tire facility shall not be stored on surfaces with grades that will <br /> interfere with fire fighting equipment or personnel unless mitigation measures have been approved <br /> in writing by the local fire authority, or a fire safety engineer registered by the State of California. <br /> Measures established by a fire safety engineer shall be subject to approval by the local fire <br /> authority. <br /> (E) Tires must be removed from rims immediately upon arrival at the facility. <br /> (F) The site shall be designed and constructed to provide protection to bodies of water from runoff of <br /> pyrolytic oil resulting from a potential tire fire. <br /> Summary: The operator needs to abide by all of the standards set forth in 30 PRC and 14 CCR. <br />
