The site was evaluated for <br /> compliance with applicable sections of the PRC and Title 14, California Code of Regulations <br /> (CCR). Enclosed is a copy of the State Inspection Report for your records. <br /> The following violations of Title 14, CCR were documented: <br /> 30 PRC 42833 Authorized by Permit <br /> 30 PRC 42953 Using an Unregistered Waste Tire Hauler <br /> 30 PRC 42961.5 Manifesting <br /> 14 CCR 17351 Fire Prevention Measures <br /> 14 CCR 17352 Facility Access and Security <br /> 14 CCR 17353 Vector Control Measures <br /> 14 CCR 17354 Storage of Waste Tires <br /> Pursuant to 14 CCR § 18420(a), all operators of major or minor waste tire facilities that store, <br /> stockpile, accumulate, or discard waste tires shall acquire a WTF Permit. <br /> The CIWMB's Facilities Operations Branch is requesting that you submit a corrective action plan <br /> by November 15, 1998 for the waste tires stored at the aforementioned location. The plan shall <br /> either specify the time needed to remove the waste tires from the location or the intent to become <br /> a permitted Waste Tire Facility (WTF) and abide by the applicable technical standards set forth <br /> in the regulations prior to obtaining a WTF Permit. <br /> Further, please be advised that the transportation of waste tires to this location is considered to be <br /> a violation of state statute. <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> - Printed on Recycled Paper <br />
