<br />Published by Articulate® Storyline 36 4/27/18 <br />3.8 Liquor and Wine <br /> <br />Notes: <br />For any unsaleable liquor or wine items a “Liquor Destroy at store” transfer label must be used. <br />• Any liquor items that contain alcohol less than or equal to 24% or 50 proof can be destroyed at the store. <br />• Any liquor items that contain alcohol greater than 24% or greater than 50 proof must be processed as hazardous waste. <br />• Liquor is not valid for return to the distribution center. Items must be destroyed at the store. <br />• Use caution and Personal Protective Equipment when handling broken liquor and wine bottles. <br />• Use additional absorbent pads to wrap broken bottles to protect associates from glass, and double bag the item where free <br />liquid is present. <br />
