' 27 March 2006
• AGE-NC Project No 99-0592
' Figure 3 Illustrates the contoured ground water elevations
' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
No analytes of concern were detected above laboratory reporting limits in the samples collected for
' the fourth quarter monitoring event Analytical results for the ground water samples from the
December 2005 monitoring event are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 The laboratory report(CTEL
Project No CT214-0512074), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports and chain of
' custody are included in Appendix B Documents confirming the upload of laboratory electronic
deliverable format (EDF) files and depth to water measurements to GeoTracker are included in
Appendix C
1
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
' Based on the findings from this investigation, AGE concludes
' . Ground water at the site for the December 2005 monitoring event was Inferred to be flowing
toward the north-northeast at an average gradient of 0 004 ft/ft The ground water flow
' direction is Inconsistent with the previous monitoring event, but consistent with the majority
of past events
• The average ground water elevation at the site on 08 December 2005 was 35 47 feet below
' MSL The average ground water elevation at the site increased approximately 2 93 feet
between the September 2005 and December 2005 monitoring events
' None of the target analytes were detected in fourth quarter 2005 ground water samples
' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based on the results of this investigation, AGE submitted a Closure Summary Report, dated
30 August 2004,the EHD_responded by letter dated 15 March 2005,requiring site fate and transport
study of fuel compounds as well as TCE and PCE Pending site closure, AGE recommends
' continued quarterly ground water monitoring The next monitoring event was performed on 08
March 2006
•
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
