• Ryder Environmental Awareness <br />Aprofessional, certified engineer must develop and <br />sign -off on the Plan. Periodic self -reviews by <br />Ryder facility personnel are required every 5 years <br />or whenever technical changes occur at the facility. <br />The Plan must be filed with the state and a copy <br />must be filed on-site. <br />Any significant facility changes, such as <br />increase/decrease/modification of storage tanks, must <br />be reported to Ryder's Environmental Services group. <br />SPCC Plans must be modified/revised by the engineer <br />when significant facility changes occur. <br />Employee training requirements and facility spill <br />prevention procedures described in the SPCC Plan are <br />site-specific. <br />Actions Needed: <br />• Determine if you have aboveground storage <br />volumes that exceed allowable limits. <br />Contact Ryder Environmental Services for <br />assistance if needed. <br />• If an SPCC Plan is required at your site, find <br />your Plan. Make sure it is current. <br />• Review the training and emergency <br />procedures outlined in the SPCC Plan and <br />make sure employees have been trained and <br />training has been recorded. <br />• Review the Ryder Environmental Policy and <br />Control Manual, Procedure No. 6.4, Spill <br />Prevention Control and Countermeasures, for <br />Ryder requirements regarding these plans. <br />
