Hammer Lane <br />Stockton, Ca. <br />Dear Ms. Foley: <br />d <br />`. <br />DEC 1 7 19"n' <br />S"!_ <br />PEERN IT11S"! <br />In accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Department memo <br />#89-021 title "Guidelines for the Installation of New UGST at Sites <br />With Documented Soil and/or Groundwater Contamination", we are sub- <br />mitting this letter of commitment. <br />We declare, under penalty of perjury, that the information and/or <br />recommendation contained in the attached proposal or report is true <br />and correct. <br />Furthermore, we agree to the conditions placed on the site referenced <br />above in order that new installation of underground storage tanks may <br />proceed. <br />A. A Preliminary report was submitted to San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Division in Three Sections. <br />Section 1: Submitted Sept. 19, 1990, and titled "Preliminary <br />Soil and Groundwater Investigation. <br />Section 2: Submitted Nov. 7, 1990, and titled "Addendum <br />B to Phase 2 Work Plan. <br />Section 3: Submitted Nov.29, 1990, and titled "Completion <br />of Phase 2 Work Plan. <br />A set of these preliminary reports will be submitted to the Central <br />Valley Regional Quality Control Board by Dec. 12, 1990. <br />B. Quik Stop Markets, Inc. will exercise Option 2 of part B, <br />which states: <br />"The suspect zone shall undergo an Immediate Source Removal, <br />with placement of clean fill materials, prior to the place- <br />ment of new tanks." <br />
