The 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste liquid stored outside next to the dumpster was left open. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste. <br /> 605. The 55 gallon drum of hazardous waste liquid stored outside next to the dumpster had a blank <br /> hazardous waste label and lacked an accumulation start date, hazardous waste property, physical state, <br /> and company name and address. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" 2. name and address of generator 3. hazardous properties 4. physical <br /> state 5. composition (contents) 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label this container and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the drum of hazardous waste has been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by August 25, 2013. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form with a statement of how each <br /> violation was corrected, including supporting documentation, by August 25, 2013.
