Weber, 3rd Floor Stockton, CA 95202-2708 RE: Return to Compliance Certification—Safeway Tracy, CA Distribution Center Steven: In order to complete the Return to Compliance Certification I am submitting the corrective actions taken in order to comply. 1. #12—Spent absorbent was found at trash can of repair bay. Manager on site removed this spent absorbent. Spent absorbent shall be handled as hazardous waste. Correct immediately. Resolution: ]Employees informed on proper handling of hazardous waste. 2. #30—Following hazardous waste containers are not labeled correctly: 1000G. Waste Oil—Accumulation date incorrect. Resolution—Container was emptied by Evergreen Environmental and dated. #30—Spent Absorbent at 55 -gallon drum located at filter staging arca—No hazardous waste label. Resolution --Hazardous waste label applied to drum. #30-90 day accumulation area: 155 gallon of waste oil and 3 55 gallon used absorbent—No start accumulation date. Resolution --Containers picked up by ECi. Once accumulation is started, the container will be dated. Waste oil (55 gallon) and used oil filter (35 gallon) --No start accumulation date. Resolution—Containers picked up by Evergreen Environmental. Once accumulation is started, a date will be documented on new containers. 3. #21—Spent absorbent (55 gallon) no label and no lid. Immediately provide label information and lid to hazardous waste container. I f start accumulation date can not be located the hazardous waste shall be removed under manifest.
