Enviro
LIONUDAKIS
PROOF OF CORRECTIVE ACTION
FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM
7. We determined there were small amounts of hazardous waste, this was transferred into our
hazardous waste liquid container, and the absorbent pads were transferred to our hazardous
waste, oily solids container. Hazardous waste containers were emptied by Asbury
Environmental Service, 1300 S. Santa Fe Ave., Compton Ca. Aug 23, 2011.
11. Hydraulic casing, (cylinder), has been sealed to prevent further leaking. Concrete has been
scrubbed with floor sweep, which was then placed in our used floor sweep containment, and
labeled.
Fine powder around sandblast machine was put in a container, labeled, and picked up by
Asbury Environmental Service. A secondary catch container was put in place to avoid glass
beads, (powder),from spilling onto the floor.
20 & 50 Labels are now being used, and start dates are being marked, along with other
information, all hazardous waste has been removed properly.
23. Used oil filters and gasoline filters, are now being properly stored and labeled as, "drained
used oil filters", and include accumulation start date.
27. All hazardous waste containers are being closed at all times except when adding or
removing waste. A reminder was given to all shop employees.
30. Drums are now being labeled with emptied or replaced date.
52. An emergency coordinator has been appointed, along with an emergency contacts list
posted by the telephone. In addition, site maps of fire extinguisher locations.
60 & 63. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years, have been
provided to us by Asbury Environmental Services, and are now on site.
Nick Lionudakis
Shop Supervisor
