SIXTH ST.
DTSC received a Remedial Investigation Work Plan and addendum dated 8/23/05 and 10/27/05 prepared by
Kennedy/Jenks Consultants for characterization of the Union Pacific Former Tracy Railyard. DTSC had reviewed and
issued comments via letter dated October 24, 2005, requesting revisions to the workplan, primarily to update the Health
and Safety plan. The comment letter did not identify technical deficiencies with the proposed investigation scope of work
that would preclude project contractors from initiating preparation for the investigation. This note is intended to
acknowledge and approve the technical scope of work presented in the RI workplan and addendum for the purpose of
facilitating the acquisition of permits necessary in preparation for the investigation fieldwork. DTSC will followup with mail
correspondence acknowledging all comments have been adequately addressed.
If you have any questions, you can contact me at the number below.
