Five <br /> subsurface storage tanks are located on the site and include; two 500 gallon, <br /> �I <br /> one 5000 gallon, and one 10,000 gallon.1 gasoline and one 50,000 No. 6 oil <br /> tank. Soil and ground water chemical testing of samples taken in the w <br /> vicinity on these storage tanks indicates! that leakage of the gasoline tanks <br /> hlas occurred. Gasoline contamination was revealed in the soil and <br /> groundwater near the 500, 5,000 and 1'0,000 gallon tanks adjacent to . the <br /> forklift shop. Since gasoline caused soil ;and groundwater contamination has <br /> been revealed by chemical analysis, aI site assessment of the extent of <br /> contamination in soil and groundwater is necessary. This investigation must <br /> bp conducted following all applicable requirements of the San Joaquin County <br /> Health District, including permits, releases and inspections by the County <br /> Inspectors.
