Exceltech conducts initial soil core tests and installs monitoring wells. We have performed over 10,000 boring tests and installed over 200 groundwater monitoring wells. Exceltech geologists provide characterization and contaminant plume definition. Exceltech's process engineering department, together with our product manufacturing operation, designs and constructs treatment systems required to remove contaminants from groundwater. Treatment technologies include extraction systems, oil/water separators, air strippers and carbon beds. Our environmental engineers support geotechnical field services and process engineers by acting as a technical liaison with regulatory agencies. We work with the EPA, California's Department of Health Services, the Regional Water Quality Control Board, the Air Resources Board and local government agencies (i.e., fire departments) to obtain required permits and approvals.
