Xylenes were detected in <br /> the sample of the effluent Water of the second carbon filter <br /> (TVGT EFF2C); however, xylenes were also detected in the trip <br /> blank sample at nearly identical concentrations. Therefore, the <br /> presence of xylenes in the effluent sample is believed to be <br /> contamination introduced either during transport or in the <br /> laboratory. Cross-contamination during sample collection is not <br /> likely since the trip blank is prepared in the laboratory. <br /> A summary of analytical data is presented in Table 1. A second <br /> round of samples from 2C effluent water (TVGT EFF2C) will be <br /> collected and analyzed to confirm laboratory results.
