Chronology <br /> Universal Forest Products <br /> 26200 Nowell Road, Thornton, CA. 95686 <br /> San Joaquin County Local Oversight Program <br /> Geotracker ID#: T0607732095 Site #: 0001588 <br /> Clean Up Fund#: nla APN: 001-230-20 <br /> 06/15/04 One underground storage tank (UST) was removed under Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) permit and inspection on this date. Hydrocarbon odors and <br /> discolored soil were observed. <br /> 07/01/04 A Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge and an Unauthorized Release <br /> Report were filed this date. <br /> 11/04/04 The date the EHD received the laboratory results of the soil and groundwater <br /> samples collected beneath the USTs when they were removed which verified the <br /> soil and ground water was contaminated by releases from the USTs. <br /> 03/08/05 Five geoprobe borings were advanced this date around the former UST area. <br /> Soil and groundwater samples were collected from three of the probes. <br /> 08/05/05 The date of the "Preliminary Site Investigation" report on the March 2005 work. <br /> Total Petroeum Hydrocarbons were found in all the water samples and one soil <br /> sample. <br /> 02/08/06 Three monitoring wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 were installed around the former <br /> UST area on this date. <br /> 05/22/06 The first quarterly ground water monitoring well sampling was conducted on this <br /> date. <br /> 06/16/06 The date of "Supplementary Soil and Groundwater Investigation" report on the <br /> February 2006 work. No soil or groundwater contamination was found. <br /> 08/06/08 The date of the EHD letter commenting on Innovative & Creative Environmental <br /> Solutions (ICES) Underground Storage Tank Case Closure Report dated March <br /> 21, 2008. The EHD denied the request for closure and required additional UST <br /> removal information and a vapor intrusion evaluation. <br /> 10/01/08 The date the EHD received ICES' Vapor Intrusion Investigation Work Plan dated <br /> September 5, 2008. <br /> 01/13/09 The date four soil vapor probes were placed on-site around the former USTs and <br /> vapor samples were collected. <br />
