Tf <br /> 31 October 1997 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0137 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> The following is a summary of volatile organic compounds detected in the wells at the site <br /> • Tert-Butyl alcohol was detected at was detected in wells MW-1, MW-3 and MW-4 at <br /> concentrations of 39, 14 and 14 ppb, respectively MTBE was only detected in well MW-1 <br /> at a concentration of 6 7 ppb While DIPE was only detected in well MW-3 at a <br /> concentration of 14 ppb <br /> • Bromochlormethane, n-Butyl benzene, sec-butyl benzene, 1,2-dichloropropane, <br /> Isopropylbenzene, n-Propyl benzene, napthlene, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene and 1,3,5- <br /> trimethylbenzene were detected in well MW-1 at concentrations of 2 0 ppb, 2 7 ppb, 3 9 ppb, <br /> 2 6 ppb, 3 7 ppb, 11 ppb,4 8 ppb, 41 ppb, and 8 6 ppb, respectively 1,2-dichloroethane and <br /> Vinyl acetate were also detected an well MW-1 at concentrations of 150 ppb and 2 5 ppb, <br /> respectively <br /> • 1,2-dichloroethane,p-isopropyl toluene,napthlene,n-propyl benzene, 1,2,4-tnmethylbenzene <br /> and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene were detected an well MW-2 at concentrations of 160 ppb, 44 <br /> ppb, 110 ppb, 52 ppb, 300 ppb and 77 ppb, respectively <br /> • N-butyl benzene, sec-butyl benzene, tert-butyl benzene, isopropylbenzene, napthlene, n- <br /> propyl benzene, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene and 1,3,5-tramethylbenzene were detected in well <br /> MW-3 at concentrations of 5 6 ppb, 5 7 ppb, 2 7 ppb, 7 3 ppb, 25 ppb, 7 2 ppb, 31 ppb and <br /> 16 ppb, respectively <br /> • Sec-butyl benzene, dichloroethane, 1,2-dichloropropane and vinyl acetate were detected in <br /> well MW-4 at concentrations of 2 8 ppb, 210 ppb, 16 ppb and 13 ppb, respectively <br /> • Sec-butyl benzene detected in well MW-5 at a concentration of 2 0 ppb <br /> Analytical results of ground water samples analyzed by EPA methods 8015m and 8020 are <br /> summarized in Table 2 Analytical results for ground water samples analyzed by EPA methods 8260 <br /> are summarized in Table 3 The laboratory report (MAI Lab ID Numbers 81474 through 81478), <br /> quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) and chain-of-custody are included in Appendix B <br /> 4 0.
