INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> ' At the request of Mr Allan Fetters, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> i eport for corrective action activities and quarterly ground water monitoring event conducted at <br /> 22871 South Highway 99, Ripon, California(the site) The location of the site and its surroundings <br /> ' ai a illusti ated in Figui e 1 Structui es and monitoring and remediation well locations associated with <br /> the site are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> This report documents a ground water monitoring event conducted in October 2001 and the <br /> operation, maintenance and monitoring in-situ au'-sparging (IAS) and soil vapor extraction (SVE) <br /> system from May through Decembei 2001 Background information, including details of previous <br /> site assessment work, was presented in the Corrective Action Plan prepared by AGE, dated <br /> 01 June 1999 <br /> 2 0 PROCEDURES <br /> All field work was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Contiol <br /> Boaid (CVRWQCB) guidelines for investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> The work was preformed in accordance with piocedures outlined in the Revised Remedial Action <br /> Wwk Plan 4ddendum and Remedial Action Work Plan, as approved by the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) by letter dated 21 April 2000 <br /> 2 1 SOIL-VAPOR EXTRACTION <br /> The SVE system was monitored monthly during operation and after re-start events During each <br /> monitoring event, the flow rate of extracted soil-vapor (influent) was measured using an electrical <br /> DPT flow meter Vacuum potential was measui ed at the two-inch influent line using a Magnehelic <br /> ' vacuum gauge <br /> The of ganic-vapor concentration in the extracted soil-vapor stream was measured prior to entering <br /> ' the blower (influent stream) and after exiting the catalytic unit (effluent stream) using an organic <br /> vapor metes (OVM)equipped with a photo-ionization detector(PID Thermo Environmental 580A, <br /> 10 OeV, calibrated to isobutylene 100 ppb) Y <br /> ' A total of eight sets of soil-vapor samples were collected between May and December 2001 during <br /> operation ofthe I emediation system Samples were collected on 09 May,25 June, 17 July,09 August, <br /> ' 13 September, 15 October, 07 November and 13 December 2001 in Tedlar vapor bags using a <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ronmentai,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
