INTRODUCITON <br /> In accordance with your request, we have prepared a proposed workplan for the <br /> installation of three ground water monitoring wells at the above-referenced subject <br /> Property. The following proposal summarizes the details of our workplan. <br /> PROJECT SITE HISTORY <br /> The subject property is located at 2 West Yosemite Avenue, situated on the northbound <br /> lane frontage road of Highway 99, approximately 1/6 mile north of Morada Lane ion <br /> Stockton, California. <br /> The subject property had been developed as a Chevron service station facility, which <br /> ' Included a service station buildingand <br /> canopy, underground fuel and waste oil storage <br /> tanks, product and vent piping, dispenser islands, planter beds and surface pavement. <br /> +-■ Information provided to our office for review by Chevron indicated the service station <br /> facility was razed in 1986, and that the underground tanks and product piping were removed <br /> at that time. <br /> An environmental assessment report was prepared for the Chevron station No. 96155 in <br /> Stockton by Woodward-Clyde Consultants, dated September 2, 1988. The report was prepared <br /> at the request of Gettler-Ryan, Inc. for Chevron U.S.A. to assess subsurface conditions at <br /> the subject property with specific regard to petroleum hydrocarbons contamination. <br /> The investigation was described in terms of exploration of shallow soils for chemical <br /> analysis to detect petroleum hydrocarbons, and existing documentation of shallow ground <br /> +.+ <br /> 1 11 1 it F.u�rl<1 rnNA I)i <br />
