The scope of services was limited to obtaining
soil samples, field screening of aerating soils, chemical
analysis of samples at a Chevron-specified laboratory and the
preparation of a report summarizing our findings.
The Chevron station was demolished in 1986, at which
time the underground storage tanks were removed. Soil
contamination was noted at that time. In January, 1990,
Dawes & Moore began the remedial action for the site. The
contaminated soil was excavated and allowed to aerate. At
the request of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality
OFFICES WORLDWIDE
+ti 4
