A report prepared for Chevron U.S,A. dated August 31, 1989 summarized j <br /> the details of Dames & Moore's findings. <br /> 1 <br /> Pursuant to a telephone call on January 8, 1990 from Mr. Karlin Knoll of the <br /> San Joaquin County Health Department, Dames & Moore has prepared this sampling f <br /> plan for the areas to be excavated in the remedial action process. Mr. Knoll <br /> provided Dames & Moore with approval of the proposed remedial action plan <br /> contingent upon providing proposed soil sampling location to be conducted during <br /> excavation portion of the remedial effort. <br /> the� <br /> r <br /> It is proposed that soil samples will be obtained at a frequency of every <br /> five vertical feet on alternating walls in each excavation, Further, a total of <br /> OFFICES WORLDWIDE <br />
