The scope of services was limited to ' obtaining <br /> soil samples, field screening of aerating soils, chemical <br /> analysis of samples' at•a •Chevron-specified laboratory and the <br /> preparation of, a -report summarizing, our findings. <br /> The Chevron stati6n .was demolished in 1986, at which <br /> time the underground storage tanks were removed. Soil <br /> contamination was noted at that time. In January, 1990, <br /> Dames & Moore began the remedial action for the site.
