Initial lab results recorded positive findin s 1 g at 0. 5 mg/Kg � fo,, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Purgeable, however this finding is "J" flagged, noted to be below the normal reporting Chetwest is compelled limit of 1 . 0 mg/Kg. to report findings at levels below the reporting limit for all analyses, in accordance with goad laboratory practices. In review of the raw data for sample 9805--4, the detected components do not appear to be of gasoline derivation whatsoever, with a notable absence of any aromatic (BTEX) components, and a relatively flat baseline in the early and mid-ranging results . The mixture, or group of hydrocarbons, is present in a relatively high boiling range in which some early diesel fuel components wi.11 normally be detected by this method. It is not possible ;i to accurately identify this mixture as diesel fuel. Such non specific results as these are. normally grouped into the Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon result with further narrative provided at client request. It is important to restate, that these results do not reflect the presence of gasoline, : or any identifiable fuel component present in gasoline and detected normally by this methodology.
