FRONTAGE ROAD (HWY. 99), MANTECA, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
On 29 April 1997, we received your letter recommending "No Further Action Required" for the above
site. After reviewing our files and discussing this site with you on 7 May 1998, we have determined that
significant remediation has occurred at this site. However, we are concerned there is no.documentation
that the remaining contamination will remain below the maximum concentration limit (MCLS) in the
new and proposed domestic wells. Therefore, we recommend delaying issuance of a"No Further Action
Required" letter until the following issues are resolved:
• Determine the amount of remaining contamination on-site;
• Estimate the concentration of contaminants that may impact the on-site domestic well;
• Obtain information concerning the location, and construction details of the proposed trailer
park domestic well, and estimate the concentration of contaminants that may impact this
well; and
• Explain why conditions remaining at this site will not adversely impact water quality, health,
or other beneficial uses.
T +If you haves a an questions;ple a call'i6 at(916) 255-3-1-128?`_
y
PATRICIA A.
