fl
• Ii
ETS ENVIRONMENTAL
1. 0 INTRODUCTION
L
This workplan has been prepared by ETS Environmental for
Mr. Jerry Moore of Moore Petroleum. This workp 1 ar, represent s
a preliminary investigation for the detection of hydrocarbon
constituents in the subsurface prior to site renovatibrj
and/or a full scale site investigation.
The site is located at 14800 W Frontage Road in Manteca,
California. The site includes a fuel dispensing station and
a convenience stere (Figures 1-1, 1-2) . Underground
utilities are limited to the product lines running to ',the
pumps.
1. 1 PURPOSE
The purpose of this workplan is to outline the necessary
phases of work necessary to determine the presence or absence
of hydrocarbon contamination at the site. This workplan
encompasses the preliminary work only, further investigation
may be required should significant contamination be
encountered.
f
1. 2 SCORE OF WORK
The following scope of work has been developed to:
achieve the purpose of this investigation:
3
1. Drill, soil sample, and log five soil borings to
groundwater. Soil samples will be tested for hydrocarbon
constituents using ERA method 8015 Modified for TPH.
i
2. If contamination is encountered in the soil borings,
complete up to three borings as wells. Wells will- be
constructed to a total depth ten feet below groundwater
with 2 inch PVC casing. Groundwater samples will be
collected and tested for TRH and BTX using EPA methods
601 and 602.
2. Prepare a report summarizing findings, conclusions! and
recommendations for further action, if necessary.
2. 0 PROPOSED WORKPLAN ! .
The following workplan has been developed by ETS
Environmental for site previously mentioned. All work will
be conducted according to standard industry practice to
