It has beer,determined th-W regrad ng Of the soil on Site <br /> would be the most co-_-,t-effective option. it is proposed to utilize the soil as f=61 for the love <br /> area on the northern portion of ttie site and to form tzridscapc berm along the <br /> Highway 99 on-ramp. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> A soil stockpile consisting of approximately 8W cubic yards of material is located on the <br /> northern portion of the site. The soils are associated with the tank removal 'cmd <br /> replacement performed in November 1989. <br /> Based on field observations by Aegis* personnel. the stockpile is comprised of two soil <br /> layers separated by a layer of plastic sheeting. It is Aegis"understanding that one of the <br /> soil layers is associated with tank removal and replacement at the fAocre Petroleum, Inc., <br /> facility iocated at 1399 East Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California. <br /> Ut:c►t.
