The soil borings were advanced at the site to a maximum depth of
45 feet below grade- Samples of subsurface soils were obtained using a California modified split-spoon
sampler. Five samples were collected and examined from each of the four soil borings. Representative
soil samples were collected in glass jars. Headspace gas measurements of total organic vapors were made
with an hNu PID. The readings from the hNu meter are recorded on the soil boring logs presented in
Appendix A
All dritling and sampling equipment was cleaned before drilling each boring using a high-pressure,steam-
cleaning apparatus. The split-spoon sampler was cleaned with phosphate-free soap and rinsed with water
--- --- = - following each sample collection. ---- - -- - -- - - --
