The black liquid leaked out of several holes in the <br /> drum, that were caused by the excavator bucket, and on to the ground. Approximately three <br /> square feet of soil were contaminated. In accordance with the cleanup plan, the contaminated soil <br /> was excavated and an additional one cubic yard of soil was excavated from beneath the spill area. <br /> The contaminated soil was placed into the plastic lined holding area and sampled.
